Our pop-ups are made from a buoyant material, giving them plenty of lift to raise bigger baits and hooks just off the deck. The lift they create ensures that baits can waft and move with ease with the motion of the tide, providing natural movement that fish find irresistible. They�re excellent for targeting fish that feed off the bottom and are ideal for use in areas where crabs can be an annoyance, lifting the bait above the crabs reach. They are effective in summer and winter and attractive to all inquisitive species. Our pop-ups are available in bright luminescent colour, perfect for night fishing or when fishing in dark, churned up water or muddy water. They are available in 6mm and 8mm versions for different buoyancy levels depending on the hook and bait used. Use the Tronixpro UV light to really give these a luminescent kick! There are 12 other colours in the range which are available in 8mm sizes only. These give a wide range of colours to suit the angling situation, species and personal choice. Also available is a larger, oval pop-up in red and yellow. These offer excellent buoyancy and something different to add to a snood for maximum attraction. The dual colour helps to attract a number of species with yellow and red optimum colours for flatfish. During a field-testing trip to Norway we had shore plaice well over seven pounds on rigs incorporating these as the main attractor.
