Sunglasses for Sea Fishing

Any experienced sea angler will tell you, sunglasses are an important part of anyone’s kit. Even though sometimes it seems like we don’t get all that much sun in the UK when we do a good pair of sunglasses can make a big difference.

Firstly they cut glare which makes fishing from structures and boats much easier when looking down into the water. Secondly when it is sunny keeping an eye on your rod tip can get pretty hard going without sunglasses on. Thirdly by keeping the glare down on longer days, you can stay fishing for longer, it is also far better to reduce UV radiation hitting your eyes if you fish a lot.
