Seeing The Follow

Watching a pike follow a lure to the bank and turn away at the last second is one of the great frustrations of predator fishing, but you can only learn from it if you can see it happening. Polarised lenses cut the glare so you can spot follows, weed beds and drop-offs. They also stop a treble or a lure in the wind reaching your eye, which happens more than people admit. Amber or copper lenses lift contrast on grey winter days, which is most days when the pike are on.
