A decent pair of polarised glasses is one of the best value bits of kit a lure angler can own. They cut the glare off the water so you can actually see the ground you’re fishing, spot fish moving and keep your eyes safe from a lure coming back at you in the wind. We stock polarised sunglasses in a range of lens colours and prices.

Seeing Into The Water

Lens colour is worth a moment’s thought. A copper or amber lens is a good all-rounder for our conditions and lifts contrast on grey days, while a grey lens is easier on the eye in bright summer sun. Whatever you choose, make sure they’re genuinely polarised rather than just dark, because that’s the bit doing the work. Once you’ve fished a session being able to see the gullies, weed beds and sandbars in front of you, you won’t want to go back.
