Rigging Up Right

It’s worth being fussy here, because everything else you’ve spent money on hangs off these bits. Sharp hooks are the big one: check the points with a thumbnail and change them when they start to feel dull, particularly after a session over rocks. Match the hook size to the plastic so the lure still swims properly, and step up the strength if you’re fishing close to structure and need to bully fish away from it.
