Saving Your Back

Most venues involve a walk, and coarse fishing gear adds up fast once you’ve got a seat box, a holdall, a net bag and bait. A barrow turns three trips into one and saves your back into the bargain. Look for a wide pneumatic wheel if your local banks are soft or muddy, since a narrow hard wheel just cuts in and stops. Strap the load low and secure, and hose the frame down after a muddy winter session so the bearings last.
