Brew Kit For The Bank

A small gas stove and a kettle is all most people need, and it lives permanently in the barrow once you’ve got into the habit. If you fish through winter or do overnighters, a proper cook set earns its place — bacon on the bank at first light is one of the genuine pleasures of fishing. Keep a spare gas canister in the bag, since they always run out mid-brew, and set the stove up on level ground away from your line and your bivvy. Check your fishery’s rules, as a few don’t allow stoves in dry weather.
