Mixing And Carrying

A wide, shallow bowl is far better for mixing groundbait than a deep bucket — you can work water through it properly and break down the lumps. A separate bucket for water saves trips down the bank and keeps your mixing bowl usable. If you fish venues with a walk in, collapsible buckets are worth having for how little space they take. Rinse everything at the end of the day, since dried groundbait sets like plaster and old maggot bran left in a warm car is nobody’s friend.
