A Bucket And A Rope

A lidded bucket keeps your bait cool and stops it going everywhere in a swell. A rope bucket for hauling water over the side is a simple thing that transforms a day — clean hands, clean board, and a way of washing down before you come in. If you’re taking fish for the table, get them into a cool box or a bucket of ice rather than leaving them on the deck in the sun, since the difference on the plate is significant.
